Dynamic Balancing Services

Dynamic Balancing Services

Definition

Dynamic balancing services is a way of balancing machines by rotating parts quickly and measuring the imbalance. The imbalance measured can then be corrected by adding or removing weight from the rotating parts until the vibration is reduced.

Overview

Dynamic Balancing Services are an essential tool for achieving success in the increasingly competitive world industrial market.

Excessive imbalance of rotating equipment adversely affects quality, productivity, wear, operator fatigue, and power consumption. It affects all rotating components including fans, couplings, spindles and more.

Basically, all machines have some form of residual vibration. Enormous vibration in rotating machinery can cause high levels of noise and more importantly, significantly reduce the life of components. So, the ideal thing to do would be to remove all causes of vibration and allow the machine to run completely smooth. The process of balancing is the removal or addition of weight to the device, so that this effective mass centre approaches the true axis.

It is the process of aligning a principal inertia axis with the geometric axis of rotation. By doing so, the centrifugal forces are reduced, minimizing vibration, noise and associated wear.

ROKADE RotoTechniks offers In-House Dynamic Balancing Services for all the rotating components having

Procedure

We have installed world renowned SCHENCK Dynamic Balancing Machines with up-dated technology.

Our Dynamic Balancing capacity is from 0.500 Kg. to 30 Tons, on different Models of SCHENCK Machines All balancing is performed to IS0 1940 standards and balance correction achieved in 1 or 2 planes.

RRT is equipped with modern dynamic balancing machinery ( SCHENCK ) which guarantees the smooth rotation of the rotor and, combined with its proper assembly (especially proper assembly clearances), secures the safe operation of the turbocharger unit as a whole.

The rotor after being fitted to the dynamic balancing machine, is rotated on high speed in order to determine any possible unbalances. Then, careful weight corrections take place, paying special attention not to have a detrimental effect on the integrity of the rotor. Finally, a dynamic balancing report, confirming the proper dynamic balancing services of the rotor, is always provided to the client.

On completion of the job you will be provided with a Certificate of Conformity and detailed reports to suit your individual needs. Delivery and collection can also be arranged for you if required.

Our team strives to exceed the demands of the Industries where we operate. In order to do this, We are capable of meeting any required balancing standard. Including ISO (All grades), and API. Our balances components and assemblies for an array of high and low-speed applications.
